This just in. Tomorrow, July 23, hip hop artist Nas is allegedly supposed to personally hand deliver a signed petition to Fox News at 2pm Eastern time. This according to politico Michael Calderone. According to Calderone, Nas wants the talking heads at Fox News to "stop its racist smears against the Obamas and other Black Americans." I can't say that I'm a fan of Nas, nor am I a fan of his music, but I must say I'm impressed with his move to take a stand. I guess time will tell what happens. Unfortunately that time is 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.... and unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with the gift of patience.

As it turns out, Bruce Wayne isn't the only one who has an alter ego. The dark knight, better known as Christian Bale has allegedly been arrested by London police. But not for a bar fight or lude behavior like most Hollywood actors. No, no... allegedly Bale likes to lay hands on his mother and his sister. Sources have not gone into detail how Bale assaulted the two women because of privacy rights. Also, being arrested in London isn't the same as being arrested in the States. Meaning he was only questioned but he wasn't held and he didn't have to post bail. Hmmm, maybe his last name isn't a name he wants to live figuratively. I'm just sayin'. However, I have been thinking about this. If, by chance, he did assault his mother and sister (the thought just makes me sick), there's no doubt the man in tights has serious anger management issues. So, just bare with me, I think that Bale is none-too-happy about all the attention the late Heath Ledger is getting. The draw to Batman: The Dark Knight has been centered around Ledger and his death. All the talk and rave has been about Ledger, so much so, that critics are already talking Oscar nomination. If we didn't know that Batman was the name of the movie, we'd forget that Bale is the star of the movie. Ooops! Too late!! Everyone has forgotten that Bale is indeed, Batman. That's just my two cents. What say you?

The wise cracking, sharp-tongued, sassy little Sicilian we all loved and knew as Sophia Petrillo on Golden Girls has died.

Estelle Getty died early this morning at the age of 84. She had been suffering from dementia for years. Getty started her acting career late in life at the age of 55, and she had small roles in popular shows, such as Newhart, Mad About You and Hotel. She also had a minor role in the hit children's movie, "Stuart Little," but her claim to fame was the gutsy and hilarious Sophia, proud Sicilian mother to Dorothy. Thank God for Lifetime TV. Sophia will live on forever. Rest in peace Mrs. Getty.

Since he first came on the scene, I've been a true fan of Robin Thicke's talent and versatility. Not-to-mention he's easy on the eyes. Yeah, I know he's married, but a girl can look. I've got to say his new joint, "Magic," is one of my favorites playing on the radio right now.

Also, hot and new on the scene is Emily King. The half white, half black Brooklynite comes from a musical family; her father a musician and her mother is a jazz singer. The fact that King is biracial is no big deal, but it's evident that in her younger years it was. She uses her experiences growing up in NY and captivates it in her music. Miss King writes, sings and produces all her music and at a young 20-something, it's fair to say she's got a promising, long career ahead of her.

Eva and the Rest-less

That's right, Eva the Diva is doing her "thang" on the Young and the Restless. The first black Top Model made her debut on YnR on June 25th and plays Tyra Hamilton, a single mother and Devon's aunt. Eva's had minor roles on CW's The Game, when she played Malik's ex-girlfriend, so she's not new to the acting game. But her entrance to Genoa City has been interesting since she walked through the doors of Devon and Lily's house. She has a motive... but what is it? Already, she has moved into Neil Winters' apartment, and that's not sitting too well with Neil's current lady love, Karen, who by the way told Neil to invite her to live with him until she gets back on her feet. Karen's no dummy, though. She sees behind Tyra's pretty eyes and innocent facade, which has made her put on her "A" game. Will Neil remain faithful, or will he end up falling into Tyra's arms? There's only one way to find out... tune into daytime's number one soap opera. On a side note: will Lily and Cane's love survive Chloe's manipulative antics? Because, I've got to say I'm living vicariously through Lily's character. That Cane is a fine... we'll you know the rest.

Please tell me how this drag-queen looking (fill-in-the-blank) got her own TV show? Trust, I am not hating but, really, a talk show. Now I'm convinced anyone can have their own show. Just find you're own schtick and go for it. But, I'm only one person with her own opinion. If you saw Wendy Williams' debut show on Fox, what say you?

He's 'Cleaner Than the Board of Health'

Al Reynolds explains in a The Insider interview, that this must be the reason so many people have assumed he's gay. He goes on to say that his Southern roots and the way he was raised has transported into his adult life because as a kid his mother would make him and his brothers and sisters line up before going to church to make sure they were dressed appropriately. They had to make sure they were representing the "Reynolds." Al says if people want to acquaint that with being "soft" he says he's OK with that because when he walks out of his house he's 'going to be immaculate, he's going to be clean and he's going to be be dressed nice.' And to all you critics, get it straight, Al says he's not "Star Jones ex-husband, he's Al Reynolds. For more laughs check out the video.

Far be it for me to promote sensationalism, but I just got the biggest laugh and had to share. As I'm standing in the checkout line at the grocery store, I did what we all do... read the covers of all the celebrity and gossip magazines. When suddenly my eyes fell upon the cover of the National Enquirer. On it was a huge picture of Oprah and Tyler hand-in-hand and the caption read: "Oprah and Tyler Perry are Dating" and the byline read Oprah leaves Stedman for Tyler, or something of the other. I was so busy laughing that I can't really remember the exact words, but if the Enquirer really wants to insult our intelligence that badly, go right ahead. But, that is the most ridiculous "mumbo jumbo" I've read. I'm still laughing.
